The Owyhee 1P Insert is designed to fit seamlessly inside the Owyhee 1P Tent, providing full double-wall coverage when bugs are an issue or when you prefer the comfort of a traditional double-wall setup. Sized for comfort, it offers generous space on both sides of your sleeping pad for clothes and gear. Once pitched, the insert covers approximately two-thirds of the tent, leaving the remaining third as a functional vestibule for additional storage.
A full U-shaped zipper ensures easy entry and exit. The insert can be pitched either before or after the fly, allowing you to quickly get under shelter during sudden storms before attaching the insert.
Featuring Argali’s innovative quick-connect design, setup is fast and precise. The floating bathtub floor enhances versatility on slightly uneven terrain, while four lightweight sliding wire gate carabiners clip into sewn-in corner cords for secure attachment.
Setup is simple:
Attach the colour-matched webbing and connect the wire gate carabiners to the corners. Stake out the four tent corners, insert the center pole inside the insert, and secure the remaining guy-out points. Finally, tighten the bathtub floor using the paracord and line-loc adjusters for a snug, secure pitch.
